08:00 - Get picked up at your hotel and take the morning drive to Cat Ba Island via Hai Phong City. The drive includes a 30-minute ferry ride before reaching Cat Ba Island. The drive takes almost 4 hours.
12:00 - On arrival at Cai Beo wharf of Cat Ba Island. Get on your private Vintage Junk, enjoy welcome drink, move around to learn about the boat and check into your cabin before cruising.
12:15 - Pull up the anchor and start your cruise. The junk firstly winds its way by a fishing village toward Lan Ha Bay. Not much different from Halong Bay, featured with hundreds of limestone islands and islets. Lan Ha is smaller but the karst sheer islands stay close together, this makes Lan Ha Bay become the best place for kayaking and swimming activities. The beaches are tiny but there are plenty of them compare with Halong Bay.
13:30 - Anchor is dropped in the middle of the bay for lunchtime. If the weather is nice enough, your lunch will be served on the top deck where you are able to enjoy the scenery during your lunch the best.
14:30 - After lunch, the boat will take you to visit a fish-farm. Learn about the typical sorts of fish grown on the bay. After that, get back to the junk and continue on the cruise to Ba Trai Dao beach for you to paddle around on kayaks to explore this beautiful part of the bay. Take a swim on the beach if the weather permits.
16:00 - Anchor is pulled up for the cruise toward Halong Bay. After a turn where you can view the open sea, you will reach Halong Bay. It gets a bit wider but you could not see a lot of tourist boats as you are still in a remote part of the bay. The junk is gently moving toward the night place.
17:30 - Get back on the top-deck for an interesting cooking demonstration during the sunset. The chef will show you how he makes the Vietnamese popular fried rolls. Of course, after the samples, you will have a go, then enjoy your work right after.
19:00 - Enjoy set-menu dinner and stay overnight on the junk.

07:15 - The engine is started for the day.
07:45 - Breakfast is served while the junk is taking you to Vung Kiem Lam area where you will have more time to paddle your kayaks to explore a hidden lake that is only accessed by a tunnel-like cave with many beautiful stalactites hanging down from the ceiling. 
09:30 - Get back to the junk and meandering between the rocks back to Lan Ha Bay (Mostly on a different route)
10:30 - Check out of the cabin. and get ready for the early lunch (served on the boat).
11:45 - Bid farewell to the crews and disembark. Drive to Ninh Binh via Haiphong and Red River Delta
16:40 - Arrive at your hotel in Ninh Binh. Overnight at la belle vie hotel

08:00 Pick you up from your hotel then depart to Ninh Binh. Following breakfast at the hotel, you will first transfer to Phat Diem church, one of the most famous and beautiful churches in Vietnam with special architecture: an elegant combination between Western church architecture style and Vietnamese religious buildings. And as its name suggests, it was completely built of stone and wood that are readily available in the mountain area of Ninh Binh. After visiting the church, your private guide can walk you around to enjoy the peaceful and fresh atmosphere of the countryside and discover the local life.
Around 12:00 Have lunch at a local restaurant.
13:30 Drive to visit the Thien Ha cave. You would float on the underneath river which is named Galaxy which appears with curling line under thousands of sparkling stalactites which suddenly on the right above curl of the cave ceiling. There are also many stalactites under various shapes, which need to be named. In a peaceful place, visitors would feel the sound of the oar striking clearly, the sound of a water drop and thousands of bats inside the grotto.
14:00 Transfer to your hotel in Hanoi. End of our service.
